It is usual to dedicate the book to the family members, and, for sure,
they deserve, always.....
Nevertheless, this time, the authors decided to dedicate not to indivi-
duals, but to the place where the individuals live, or lived, creatively...
The authors dedicate this book to London, the exact environment to

Anquandah from Accra, Gold Coast, tells a story to a
group of 5-year-olds at Marlborough Infants School
in Isleworth, as part of his training at the Institute of
Education. The rest of the class can be seen,
continuing with their work at desks behind them.
According to the original caption, Mr Anquandah
was a student at the Accra Government Training
College, and won the Gold Coast Teacher’s
Certificate. He was headmaster of a large infant
school in Accra and is taking a special course in
Infant-Junior work at the Institute. This figure is
