Computer Arts Graduate Showcase 2006
To submit your work to the 2006
Computer Arts Graduate Showcase
you will need to provide us with full details of your work by
printing and filling out this form. Send your form, along with a CD or DVD containing high-res examples of your work (a minimum
of three and no more than five pieces per category), to the address above. You can enter your work in as many categories as you
wish. We will be accepting submissions from higher education-level students only. Late entries will not be accepted.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
You will help in the selection process and significantly increase your chances of inclusion in this year’s
Graduate Showcase
if you
closely adhere to the following guidelines. So please read carefully...
Submissions can be made in one or more of the following categories

Illustration & 2D
Ë
Graphic Design
Ë
3D
Ë
Web & Interactive Media
Ë
Animation
Ë
Video & Broadcast Design
All submissions must be made on CD or DVD and delivered by post. Online submissions will not be accepted.
IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
Please submit your work in the following formats for each category:
Illustration & 2D
All images should be submitted at 300dpi (or the highest
resolution possible) in TIFF or EPS file format. We would
prefer CMYK colour if possible.
Graphic Design
Please refer to the Illustration and 2D guidelines above.
3D
We cannot accept original 3D source files. For still images,
please see the Illustration and 2D guidelines above. For
animations, see the Animation guidelines, right.
Web & Interactive Media
For web-based work, please send exact URLs of any relevant
pages (ie, www.mysubmission.co.uk/mysubmission.html)
plus any original high-resolution artwork suitable for print.
For fixed-media projects, please send executable files for
Mac and PC
(.FLA and .DIR files are not acceptable!)
Animation
Animation and video work should be submitted as
QuickTime
files at high resolution, ideally 720x576 or higher.
Movies should be compressed with MPEG-4 or Sorenson
compression. Don’t use DivX. No work featuring copyrighted
music will be accepted without permission and we will need
verification of the authenticity of royalty-free music. If
necessary, please remove any existing audio track.
Video & Broadcast Design
