RNP-1 ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. General
Radar vectoring not available.
Whenever possbile ATC will provide direct routings/shortcuts.
After receiving an ATC clearance an ACFT may, for traffic expedition, be alligned
with the heading of the initial approach to RWY 25.
2. Equipment
RNP-1 approval required.
If not RNP-1 approved, report to ATC upon first contact. Expect routings according
to chart 10-2C.
3. Vertical planning
Pilots should plan for possible descent clearance in accordance with vertical
restrictions specified on chart. Actual descent clearance will be as directed by ATC.
If possible, CDA should be applied.
COMMUNICATION FAILURE PROCEDURE
1. GENERAL PROCEDURE WHEN NO STARS IN USE AND FOR ACFT NOT
APPROVED FOR STAR RNP-1 OPERATIONS
Set the transponder to 7600 and continue to LOZ at the last assigned FL. Overhead
LOZ, descend to 3000', then execute approach to RWY 25 (ILS or LOC RWY 25, or
VOR RWY 25) and land on the most convenient RWY (depending on the wind direction
and other circumstances).
2. PROCEDURE WHEN CONDUCTING A STAR
RNP-1 APPROVED ACFT
If a STAR was assigned and the flight crew acknowledged it, set the transponder to
7600, continue in accordance with the flight plan and follow the assigned STAR, then
execute an (ILS or VOR or RNAV GNSS) approach and land. The descent shall be per-
formed after 2 minutes from setting 7600, in accordance with the vertical restrictions
specified on charts.
If no STAR was assigned, set the transponder to 7600 and continue to LOZ at the
last assigned FL. Overhead LOZ, descend to 3000', then carry out approach to RWY
25 (ILS or LOC RWY 25, or VOR RWY 25) and land on the most convenient RWY (de-
pending on the wind direction and other circumstances).
