The fuse boxes and relay positions in
the onboard supply
The onboard supply in the second generation of
ŠkodaOctavia
is designed decentralized.
Because of the diffferent installation conditions,
the fuse boxes and the relay positions are located
at different locations in the vehicle.
These components are mounted decentralized.
This means, they are located close to their rele-
vant components and functional groups.
The functioning of the entire system in the vehic-
le is controlled by a series of specialised control
units.
The communication between the control units
and other functional groups of the electrical sys-
tem is performed via CAN databus line.
