Dr Lisa Dethridge has twenty years’ experience writing for film,
television and print in Australia and the United States. During
this time she has worked with producers and writers in both
countries, and for major and independent studios and networks.
Her clients include Fox, Warner, Working Title, MTV, CBS, NBC,
CNN, Granada, SBS, the Australian Film Commission and ABC
Australia. She has written about the screen for magazines and
journals, including a regular column for
Vogue Australia.
She has
taught writing and media/communications at the American Film
Institute, the Writers Program at the University of California, Los
Angeles, New York University, the Australian Film, Television
and Radio School, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
and the University of Melbourne. She has a PhD in Media
Ecology from New York University.
