in our projects (sajjadcheraghi profile ) we made some standards for projects :
1- Layers colors (layers have 3 colors)  :
   - blue color : editable layers (changing position / scale / turning off )
   - Red color : non editable layers (if you change this layers may be have bad effect for project)
   - green : some of projects have a layer for customization of the colors .

2- we hide extra layers that you dont need to edit (for see layers turn of the shy switch)

1-Explanation about Our Aftereffects Projects 

as you can see in our projects zip file usually are these folders and files.
A HelpDocumentation Folder ,  An .AEP File and in some projects a Footage folder  .
In HelpDocumentation Folder ,  you can find the help files to help you in the project.
In Footage folder , are the Requirements files for opening the project and you dont need to open this folder .

just you need to open the example . AEP file .

2-How to Insert Videos or Pictures .
If your project has Video or picture placeholder .
You should open the Example.AEP project and in the projects section
you will see the Edit Pictures or Videos Here  folder .
Right click in blank aria and import your Video or Picture .
then in the Edit Pictures or Videos Here  folder open the composition and insert your video or picture. 
if the projects is a slide show you will see compositions and As you've seen in preview , compositions respectively are numbered .

3-How to Insert audio .
If your project has audio placeholder .
You should open the Example.AEP project and in the projects section
you will see the Edit Audio Here  folder .
Right click in blank aria and import your Audio .
then in the Edit Audio Here  folder open the composition and insert your Audio.

4-How to Insert Texts in Projects .
If your project has texts  .
You should open the Example.AEP project and in the projects section
you will see the Edit Texts Here  folder . 
then in the Edit Texts Here  folder open the composition and select the texts and type your text .
also you can duplicate layers from Edit section if you need .
if the projects is a title show you will see compositions in the Edit Texts Here folder . As you've seen in preview , compositions respectively are numbered .

5-How To Customize The Colors .

if your project have color customizing ability you can change the colors .
you should open the Example.AEP project and in the projects section select the Main Project composition . 
you will find the Color Controller Layer , Select the layer and go to the Effects controls Section .
you will see the colors.  and you can change the colors simply from here .

6-How to Export Your Project.
after customizing the project select the main Project composition from the Project Section .
then select the add to render queue From composition section .
In the render queue Section you should select the lossless .
here you can select your video format  , export size , cropping video , and including audio to the video .
select ok button .
and here you can select the location of export .
then select the Render button.
