Updated by niol @ MTS2 for EP5 Seasons This archive contains Pond Water mods which change the color of lot water. You can only have ONE in your downloads folder (all lots share the same color water). For this reason, and to make it easier for you, so you don't have to manually go delete files if you want to change the water color, I have kept ALL of the file names the same. Extract the one you want to use into your Downloads folder. When you want to change colors, simply open a different archive and extract it to your downloads folder and overwrite the previous one. I have archived each color separately (because they share the same file name). The naming of the archives will allow you to easily identify and choose the one you want to use. NOTES: "Ice" is the only color that will show up properly in Neighborhood view. There is nothing I can do to change or fix this. Whenever you change something on your lot and save the lot, the neighborhood imposters are updated. Therefore if you have any existing ponds, they will look the same as always in N-hood view until you change something and save. ALL OTHERS besides "Ice" will show as **BLACK** in N-hood view. Again, there's nothing I can do to fix/change this. Place in your My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads folder. Enjoy! -Targa ******************************************************************************* Updated 10/20/2005 All mods and new object meshes are the intellectual and/or copyrighted property of the author, and may not be redistributed, re-posted on pay websites or any other websites, or otherwise modified/used for any other than your own personal use. Neither may they be uploaded or otherwise distributed as part of a "package", such as inclusion in a packaged lot (with exceptions noted below). This file was downloaded for free (or should have been) at www.modthesims2.com. Addendum: 10/17/2005 Because of numerous requests, I have made the following changes in my useage policy: Recolors: If an object is available for recoloring, this will be clearly stated in my original post on ModtheSims2.com, or the post will be updated if I add recoloring options later on. I will also provide a UVW texture map image for easy placement/figuring out of where the textures go for each part. You may freely post your recolors on ANY website. You MUST NOT, however, include the object itself. You must provide a link back to the original thread so people can download the object for themselves at www.modthesims2.com. Lot Packages: You may include the custom object in your lot package with the following restriction(s): Lots containing my objects must ONLY be uploaded to www.modthesims2.com You may include the object in your packaged lot, but you must add to your post the following statement (or something similar... it doesn't have to be this exact wording): "This lot uses the following custom content:" (you'll normally say that anyway) (My object name) by Targa, included in the download with permission, which you can read about here: (link to original thread of mine with the custom object) So for example, a post might look like this: Ladder Stairs by Targa (included with permission), which you can read about here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=96542 I hope this addendum helps to make things easier for recolorers and lot-builders at MTS2. Regards, Targa
