Chris Till’s never
afraid to put his Chaffee through its
paces. The M24 only saw
service during
the closing years of WW2 but
enjoyed a successful post-war career
in Korea
fighting off T-34s, as well as proving
useful in Algeria and during the first
Indochina
conflict. Unbelievably, some up-gunned and modernised examples are
still in service in countries such as Uruguay.
