The Whippet was conceived to be a lighter,
and faster armoured vehicle to be used in
conjunction with the heavier tanks already
being produced. As such, the Whippet didn’t
mount any heavy main guns, but instead, four
machine guns, in ball mounts, in what must
have been a claustrophobic, cramped and
noisy crew space!
Construction
Meng…..if there was a literal translation; it
must go something like…
“Thoughtfully engineered model kits”
Others may go for part count or overly
complex instructions but Meng has a fair
degree of ‘Tamiya logic’ to it, albeit with the
quality and attention to detail we all crave.
